Please mark your calendars and make plans to join us for the Eagle's Nest Foundation 85th Anniversary Weekend next September 21-23, 2012, in the mountains of western North Carolina.  This upcoming summer marks our 85th season at Eagle's Nest and we are delighted to share this exciting anniversary year and special weekend with your family!

 

During the weekend, we'll be "Growing Home," with lots of community acvities, delicious food from the Whole Kitchen, and fun events for all ages offered each day!  

 

Registration begins on Friday afternoon.  We'll kick off the celebration with A-Field games, canoeing on the lake, environmental seminars, Explorers Club, an evening Coffee House in the Lodge and much more!  Friends will continue to arrive on Saturday, and you'll have the opportunity to catch-up on your Indian Lore, get creative in the Arts Arena, help harvest the garden, and lend a hand with the work crew.  

 

Saturday evening, dust off your dancing shoes at the Square Dance in the New Lodge.  We'll also share memories and marshmallows around the campfire on Nature Hill.  On Sunday morning enjoy a peaceful hike with old friends in nearby Dupont Forest.
