Your Piece of the Pie Makes a Difference

By Jo Winkle

DONATIONS & INVESTMENT INCOME 2006*

Total $123,799

* Based on pre-audited financial records

Each year we are amazed by the generosity of the many people who contribute to Eagle’s Nest.   In 2006 we had 377 donors who contributed a total of $123,799!!   THANK YOU!  Below is a breakdown of the donations received in 2006.   You can connect to our web and see the charts in color showing each piece of the pie and where your donations made a difference.

Now is the opportunity for YOU to be a part of the Eagle’s Nest pie.   Our 2007 Annual Fund goal is $125,000.    Your contribution will help us meet the growing need for financial assistance in providing scholarships for Eagle’s Nest Camp, Hante and The Outdoor Academy; faculty and staff development opportunities; and our ongoing need for building renovations and campus improvements.

We ask that you consider a gift to this year’s Annual Fund Campaign. Every gift counts! Go to our Eagle’s Nest Foundation website www.enf.org/donations to donate online by credit card or send a check.   Make a gift in honor or memory of family and loved ones and they will receive a delightful card from us.   Invite others to give a gift in honor of YOU for your birthday or special occasion! Other excellent options include:

  • Create a Named Scholarship Fund like our new Caitlin M. Smith OA Scholarship Fund.   Caitlin is an alumnus of Semester XVIII.
  • Request Matching Funds from your business or ask your parents/siblings/friends to match your gift
  • Set up a planned gift to benefit Eagle’s Nest in the future
  • Donate Stock or Securities –
  • Donate Land or Property that can benefit Eagle’s Nest for future generations
  • Give a Gift In Kind – see our WISH LIST on page 11 for ideas.

We appreciate your help continuing our mission of promoting the natural world and the betterment of human character through experiential education for young people. Thank you so much for your support.
