As usual, the Nesters are staying busy all over the country and the world!   Check out what everyone has been up to:

Ashley Rodabaugh sees amazing
sights while studying in Ghana.

Ashley Rodabaugh (camper, JC) is currently studying in Ghana through Loyola University Chicago and USAC.   During her first week there she ran into Courtney Latta(camper, staff) while touring a castle.   The two were campers and JCs together at Eagle’s Nest.

Madison Kelly (OA) is currently a freshman at College of Charleston.

Chris (camper, JC)and Phil McCarty (camper, JC) of the Chris McCarty Band are currently touring around Florida and Georgia.   Their new album can be found on iTunes!

Zanne Garland (camper, JC, staff) is living in Seattle and has just started a new job as the Individual Giving Manager at Solid Ground, an organization that has 30 programs to address poverty alleviation and social justice.   Congrats Zanne!

Amy Brooks (camper, OA) is working as an Associate Professor, Clinical Instructor and Athletic Trainer at Tusculum College in Greenville, TN.   Amy earned her Masters in Psychology and Counseling in May 2006 from Troy University and is now working on an MS degree in Sports Management at Eastern Tennessee State University.

Congratulations to the bride and groom!

Chad and Ranielle Brinker (staff) enjoyed a wonderful honeymoon in Costa Rica and returned to quickly adopt a puppy and buy a house.   They are doing very well and living in Roswell, Georgia.

Naomi Siegel (camper, JC, staff) is currently living in Oakland, CA and playing music in the Bay area.   To see where she’ll be playing next you can check out www.myspace.com/nsiegel.

Jen Hunt (camper, JC, staff) has recently returned from her travels to Ghana, where she lived in the small town of Kopeyia and studied dance, batik, basket and kente weaving.   She says her time in Ghana was a fantastic experience.

Ben Doyle (camper, OA) graduated from Guilford College in December with a BA in philosophy and Religious Studies.   He is currently working for Second Nature Wilderness Programs in Clayton, Georgia.    Jon Doyle (camper) is now a freshman at Guilford College.

Josie Streiff (OA) is studying Special Education at Armstrong Atlantic State University and hoping to graduate in 2008.   She is looking forward to studying in Belize in May.

Adam Smith (camper, JC, OA) graduated from Appalachian State University in December with a BS in Physics and Astronomy.   He is working on his Masters Degree in Physics Instrumentation at Appalachian State.

Maggie Brooks (camper, OA) will graduate from Elon University with a BA in Creative Writing and Film in May.   She is currently working with a film production company in Greensboro, NC.

Erin Masi (camper, JC, staff) is completing her Masters in Elementary Education at the University of Florida in May.   We are thrilled that Erin will be joining us back at Eagle’s Nest this summer!

Stacy Hackner (camper, OA) has been living it up at University of Chicago, where they just endured the biggest February snowstorm   in history.

Dominican Republic’s
Independence Day Parade.

Tanya Green (camper, OA) is currently living in the Dominican Republic.

Charles Cranford (staff) and Beth Harding (staff) were married on November 19 th in Victoria, Australia.   Chloe Fogg(staff) and Steve McIntyre (staff) were able to attend and partake in the couple’s big day!

 

 

 

 

 

Casey and Reilly Fleming

BIRTHS

Rowan Kestrel Armstrong was born to Ona Friedrichs (staff) and Jeff Armstrong (staff) on January 19 th.

Casey Flemming (staff) and his wife had a son, Reilly, on September 30 th.   They are living in England.

Sara Quintero (Staff) and Eric Aguilar had a baby, Sophia Marie Aguilar on February 19 th, 2007.  She was 8 lbs and 21 inches.
