Added Adventures -- Each summer, Eagle's Nest Camp offers Added Adventure programs for campers who want both the in-camp experience and an extended off-campus adventure! From the beloved traditional Huck Finn to the brand-new North Carolina Mountain Biking, Added Adventures offer something for all our campers who have finished fifth through eighth grades. No experience is necessary for Added Adventures! Bring your excitement and join us for a great time.

Junior Counselors --Junior counselors (JCs) are rising high school juniors and seniors who are interested in learning about being counselors. Twelve JCs are chosen for each camp session – six boys and six girls – to help the counselors on staff supervise campers. While JCs are still considered campers and are expected to follow the rules set forth for campers, they are given extra responsibilities and participate in leadership classes.

Hante Adventures -- Hante Adventures are 2-3 week cultural and wilderness adventures that challenge teenagers to push, both mentally and physically, to reach a deeper understanding of themselves and the world around them. By trekking through the wilderness, rock climbing, biking and whitewater paddling in some of the world's most beautiful natural environments, young people build confidence and self-esteem, learn invaluable leadership skills and form friendships that last a lifetime.
