Insurance
Eagle's Nest requires all campers to be covered by medical/health insurance while attending Camp or Hante programs. We also encourage families to consider purchasing travel/tuition insurance. Many insurance companies offer low-cost, short term or temporary insurance polices for students and summer campers. For more information, please contact your insurance agent or try one of the companies listed on our Parents Resources page.
Deposit for Camp and Regular Hantes
Camp and regular Hante Adventures have a $450 depost of which $100 is non-refundable. Deposit is due with application to hold a space in the Camp or Hante program. $350 of the deposit is refundable until February 1of Camp or Hante year unless otherwise specified for special (*) Hante Adventures and Junior Counselor (JC) applicants.
Special (*) Hante Adventure Deposit and Refunds
Special Hante Adventures marked with an asterisk (*) have an application deadline of November 15th before camp/Hante year with rolling acceptance after November 15th. Special (*) Hante Adventures have a 50% non-refundable tuition deposit due upon acceptance into the program. Remaining tuition balance is due February 1 and is non-refundable. We try to keep our programs affordable while still covering the costs of running these unique adventures. Due to the costs of running special (*) Hantes, Early Bird discounts will not be offered to applicants applying to a special (*) Hante during the Early Bird registration period.
Junior Counselor Deposit and Refunds
The Junior Counselor application deadline is October 15th before camp year, with rolling acceptance after October 15th. Junior Counselors have a 50% non-refundable tuition deposit due upon acceptance to the program. Remaining tuition balance is due February 1 and is non-refundable.
Full Payment
Camp and Regular Hante tuition payments are due in full by March 1 of camp or Hante year. For any registrant after March 1, tuition payment will be due in full three weeks after registration.
Refunds
After March 1 of camp year and prior to the beginning of the session the camper is registered to attend, there is no refund for early withdrawal, late arrival or no-show. Further consideration of refunds is made at the discretion of the trustees, upon written request. Eagle's Nest Camp highly recommends the purchase of travel/tuition insurance.
