 Alyssa Merwin
Alyssa is an alumna of the first semester of The Outdoor Academy of Eagle’s Nest Foundation. Though she spent much time exploring the outdoors in her childhood, her experience at the OA hugely impacted her life. Alyssa’s time at the Outdoor Academy instilled in her a sense of responsibility, passion for discovery, and a love of exploring new places and people. She is thrilled to be a part of the ENF family, and particularly honored to be able to give back through her work on the Board of Trustees and in serving on the Development and Marketing Committees. She became an Eagle’s Nest trustee in 2006.
Alyssa received her Bachelors degree in International Affairs and French from Smith College in Northampton, MA. Her love of travel and focus on business led to a career at the Corporate Executive Board, a best-practices research and consultancy firm in Washington, DC. As a Senior Director of Marketing in the London office, Alyssa spent the last two years in the London office where she managed an international team responsible for penetration of the European and African markets. Her work took her across the globe, from San Francisco, New York, and Paris to Stockholm, Johannesburg, Helsinki, and Sydney.
After working in Washington, DC and London, Alyssa is excited for her next adventure, a move to New York City, where she will continue to work for the Executive Board and to serve on the board of Eagle’s Nest Foundation.
