Whether you are a seasoned canoeist, or a novice, this Hante will challenge and improve your paddling skills immensely.  For this Hante, you will follow the flow of rivers as they wind from the Mountains here in Western North Carolina to the Flatlands.  Our primary goal is to begin with a flat-water canoe trek on the French Broad river starting at the headwaters in Rosman, NC, through Asheville.  Before the big water of the French Broad, we will take off the river to work on whitewater skills on some other classic NC rivers.  Then we will put back on and continue down the French Broad through all the classic whitewater sections until it ends in Tennessee.
