We were thrilled to welcome Outdoor Academy Semester XXIX to campus on Saturday, August 29!  The adventures started right away. The day after they got here, the students embarked on their 3-day, 2-night Orientation Trek in the beautiful Pisgah National Forest.  Students spent the rest of the week getting to know each other and the OA campus.  Classes are now in full swing, and the students are settling in to a fun-filled, life-changing semester with their friends and teachers.

Keep up with us throughout the semester!  Check out

Julie, Paige and Becky Salomon spent the last two weeks of January traveling across Florida and Georgia. It was very fun to see many of the campers and alums who came to see us at the camp and Hante parties.

In Miami we were able to catch up with the Botran family and watch manatee in the canal behind their house. Sophia is preparing for her role in "Willy Wonka". We were able to stay with the Tamborels. Frederico ran a mile of the Miami Marathon while we were there, completing a 26.2 mile program with his school!

From Miami we headed North to Mount Dora where we had a wonderful party (attended by Sand Hill Cranes and Wood Ducks) at Edee Waite's. We're looking forward to seeing Edee back at camp as a counselor during Session I this summer.

Further up the coast we visited with the Moore's and the Goodlings. Allison's been busy dancing this winter and just performed as a party child in "The Nutcracker". The Goodling boys have been very busy with drama this winter. They are currently finishing out a run in "Othello" and will be performing in a Shakespher festival on Sunday.

Please check the promotions schedule for a party in your area. If there isn't one, and you'd like to host one, please contact Julie at jslobin@enf.org.
