Dates in white with green background are those when parents will be on campus.
Our planned backpacking, paddling and climbing days could be changed due to weather or other scheduling conflicts. There will also be additional off-campus activities scheduled.
Please call in advance if you are considering coming for a visit.
Grades and comments will be mailed in late December or late May.
Dates may change due to weather and other factors.
The final semester calendar will be included in the Enrollment Packet.

Spring 2008, Semester XXVI
Sat., January 12, 2008	Spring Semester Begins! Students arrive between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon
January 13 - 18	Student Orientation Week : Students will not be allowed to use the phone during the first week.
February 1 - 3	Caving Weekend – Worleys Cave
February 15-17	Parents Weekend: Parents are welcome on campus anytime after 2:30 on Friday to observe Appalachian Studies projects in progress. Students should depart campus between 5:00 and 6:00 p.m. Parents should return with students on Sunday for an 11 am Brunch with advisor groups followed by a 12:30 pm Parent Meeting. (If you cannot come, please make arrangements with us to supervise your child during this weekend.)
February 29 - March 2	Outdoor Program Weekend
Sat., March 8	Spring Break Begins: Parents should plan to pick up their student between 10:00 am and 12:00 noon.
Sun., March 16	Spring Break Ends: Students should return between 3:00-5:00 pm.
March 26-30	Wilderness Trek #1: Pisgah National Forest
April 4-6	Paddle/Climb Weekend
April 15-20	Wilderness Trek #2: Joyce Kilmer Memorial Forest
Sat., May 10	Spring Semester Ends: Parents should arrive between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon. Please do not plan to pick students up before 10 a.m. We will have brunch available between 11:00-1:00, and a parent meeting and parting ceremony for the full community between 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. (Students and families should plan to depart by 3:o0 p.m.)
