About OASES

OASES is a conference designed for school groups -- small delegations of eighth and ninth grade students, accompanied by faculty or parent advisors. Delegations from schools throughout the Southeast are invited to travel to The Outdoor Academy, a one-semester boarding school located in the mountains of Western North Carolina, to participate in this three-day environmental leadership conference.

The conference is scheduled for Wednesday, April 28, through Friday, April 30, 2010 so participants will need to forgo their regular classes on these days in order to experience this exceptional learning opportunity.

The conference cost is only $45 for students, and is free for faculty or parent advisors. Food and lodging are provided for all participants and advisors.

Each delegation should consist of up to 6 students, and up to 2 faculty or parent advisors.
