Between events, meals will be served in our Whole Foods Dining Hall. Our menu is based on a diet that is healthy for both our bodies and our planet, utilizing local produce, hormone free meats, non refined sugars, and whole grain breads. Our menu is flexible enough to accommodate any dietary restrictions.

Words from The Outdoor Academy Chef, Michael Moore:

While at OASES, all meals will be prepared with care and intention. The food that we consume is the very staple of our existence. Therefore, at Eagle’s Nest, we have maintained a “whole foods” philosophy for the past several decades. That means we prepare food utilizing whole grains, minimally-processed ingredients, and the freshest of the season’s fruits and vegetables.  We purchase much of our produce and meats from local farms and ranches, thereby supporting our local farming economy. Our kitchen program promotes respect for our environment and the nourishment of a healthy community.

After a full day of activity, delegations will retire to our rustic summer cabins, where they can fall asleep to the sound of cicadas. Cabins have electricity and running water, but they’re open air, so make sure you bring a warm sleeping bag!
