Your semester awaits

With our commitment to scholarships, an OA semester is possible for you.

The Outdoor Academy is an investment in your teen’s future. A semester at OA prepares students not only for college but, more importantly, for life in general. Four months of learning among inspired peers in classes with a 3:1 student-faculty ratio lets students test what they learn by applying it in the real world. This kind of hands-on education during the pivotal high school years allows students to gain life skills, connect with the environment around them, and engage deeply with their innate love of learning.

We strive to make a semester at The Outdoor Academy affordable for every motivated and qualified student. Each year we allocate  approximately 10% of all funds from our operating budget, donations, and endowment toward need-based scholarships. Over the last five years, more than half of our students received scholarships ranging from 5% to over 95% of tuition.
