Fall Retreat FAQ

Can I bring my dog?

We love dogs, but unfortunately, No. Please make other arrangements for your furry friends.

What should I bring/pack?

Here is a packing list! Nighttime can get chilly in our cabins, so please bring warm layers, bedding, towels, and anything to keep you comfortable for the weekend.

We will have warming stations set up with first aid supplies, extra blankets, and hot beverages should you get too cold.

What meals are provided?

All meals are provided in the Whole Kitchen throughout the weekend. Dietary restrictions are taken into account if indicated on the RSVP form.

There will be wine and beer served during the social hour and dinner for guests over 21 years of age.

Will the Canteen/School Store be open?

YES! We accept cash, check, and credit cards for swag purchases all weekend long!

What Activities are being offered?

There are three activity sessions throughout the weekend and options typically include on and off campus hiking, climbing, and paddling trips, arts/crafts, blacksmithing/woodworking, hanging out, to name a few. We will also host evening activities on both Friday and Saturday after dinner.

Our Pisgah Forest office now has power.

Communication with our Pisgah Forest office continues to be challenging so there will be delays in responding to messages.  For updates on the impacts of Helene on campus, visit this page: Storm Updates.
