Hante Adventures offer unique experiences rooted in the Eagle’s Nest mission. These three week expeditions invoke a deeper understanding of yourself, others, and the world around you by traveling within natural environments. Exposure to diverse perspectives, unique local histories, and differing technical abilities create these profound learning opportunities. Through challenge and commitment, you can expect to leave with greater confidence, compassion, leadership, and friendships that will last a lifetime.
Spain
June 23, 2024 – July 12, 2024 (meets at Eagle’s Nest Camp)
For campers completing grades 8 through 11 in Spring 2024
Cost: $6,145+Airfare
Immerse yourself in the beauty, language, and culture of one of Europe’s most visited countries! From the plazas around Madrid and the beaches of Barcelona, to the quaint villages of the Camino de Santiago in the hilly north country, participants on Hante Spain will have the privilege to experience the diverse landscape that makes this country so globally influential. Over the course of this adventure, you will gain a greater understanding in what it means to be a global citizen, reflecting on your own perspectives as you engage with the perspectives of local Spanish communities.

Boundary Waters
July 14, 2024 – August 2, 2024 (meets at Eagle’s Nest Camp)
For campers completing grades 8 through 11 in Spring 2024
Cost: $6,100+ Return Airfare
For all of human history, people have inhabited waterways as a means of transportation, trade, communication, and nourishment. Throughout North America, there are a number of such water bodies that have been integral to the development and livelihood of civilizations, and this Hante aims to explore a few of those transformative places.
On this trip, you will travel alongside the Mississippi River up to Lake Superior. Your journey will culminate on a 10-day long canoe exploration of a route of particular importance in history: the tranquil landscape of the Boundary Waters, located at the border of Minnesota and Canada. Let the journey begin!

All Hante participants and their parents must complete a Questionnaire before being considered for acceptance. Hantes have an application deadline of November 15th and are not eligible for the Early Bird Discount. Rolling admittance pending availability after November 15th for Hantes.
