Course Registration & Transcript Information: Traditional Block

This form is for students whose sending schools use a schedule best described as a "traditional block" setup. This means that most core classes cover a year's content per semester and classes change between semesters. OA will therefore give the student a full-year or "block" credit for each course on their official OA transcript unless an alternative credit weight is approved by OA's Dean of Academics.

Instructions

All of The Outdoor Academy's courses are taught at the honors level and will be credited as such.

Course Group A: English, Environmental Science, History. All students get to take these three courses.

Course Group B: Math or Spanish. . If you need another language option or do not need either of these classes in your schedule this semester, please contact the Admissions Director or Academic Dean to consider your curricular options, such as OA's unique Nature Writing elective.

Course Group C: Art, PE, and Health/Wellness. Don't worry, you will participate in all these activates! Please choose one of them to receive a full credit for, or two for half credits.
