Virtual Programming Guidelines

In an effort to provide connection to the Eagle’s Nest Foundation community for our participants, Eagle’s Nest Foundation would like to host online meetings and programs. All programs and meetings will be hosted and facilitated by at least one Eagle’s Nest Foundation employee. The preferred platform that Eagle’s Nest is currently using for  webinars and virtual meetings is Zoom. This spring The Outdoor Academy, an academic semester school associated with Eagle’s Nest Foundation, used Zoom for online learning.

The safety and well being of our participants is our top priority. Eagle’s Nest Foundation has created plans to protect participants in virtual program and meeting settings. All virtual programs will be run by an approved Eagle’s Nest Host.

Virtual Participation Requirements:

  • All access and registrations will go through parent email addresses

  • All participants must update their title on the virtual platform to reflect their first name

  • Only participants with completed Virtual Programming releases may attend virtual programs and events.

Code of Conduct for Participants:

  • No hate speech, discrimination, or bullying allowed in forums, video chats, or

communications of any kind. Respect for chosen names and pronouns must be exhibited by participants.

  • Participants must follow rules and guidelines shared by the Eagle’s Nest Foundation staff member.

  • Nothing shared within Eagle’s Nest Foundation meetings is to be shared on any other platforms without the permission of the user. This includes screenshots of Eagle’s Nest virtual meetings.

  • Private chat, file sharing, and screen shares by participants will be disabled by the host and are not allowed.

  • Participants will be muted on entry.

  • Participants will understand that a failure to meet the code of conduct may result in being removed from a virtual meeting and may not be invited to future virtual programming.

Please be aware that Zoom (and other virtual platforms) collect information about its users and have their own privacy terms and conditions to which members must adhere. Please review Zoom’s privacy terms and conditions since this is the platform of choice for Eagle’s Nest Foundation.
