OUR PROGRAMS GROW WITH YOUR CHILD
Campers can begin their journey at Eagle’s Nest by participating in the traditional camp program for 1 – 3 weeks. As they age they can explore additional programs including one week long Added Adventures that spice up a traditional session of camp or two to three week Hante Adventures for teens to hone their outdoor skills while gaining confidence and learning more about themselves and the outdoors.

Venture away from camp for a week of adventure. Explore the mountains, river, or beach- the choice is yours!
Added Adventure campers travel to special destinations during the session to enhance their outdoor skills and explore new places — from the banks of the French Broad River to the beaches of South Georgia. Each Added Adventure will spend one week away from camp with a group of 7 – 9 other campers and 2 – 3 counselors.
“I was amazed to hear her say repeatedly that it was the best week of her life…As her parent, I want to provide as many opportunities for her to build that confidence as I can. Eagle’s Nest provides a challenging yet safe place for her to exercise those skills and have success and I am forever grateful.”

“Thank you so much for giving our son the experience of a lifetime. He had a fantastic time on Hante Rocks and Rivers Hante!”
Learn about teaching and caring for others
Junior counselors are rising high school juniors and seniors who are interested in learning about being counselors. Twelve JCs are chosen for each camp session to help the counselors teach and supervise campers. Junior Counselors are participants who receive leadership training and community service hours for their work at camp. Learn more about our Junior Counselor program here!
“Zach has gone to Eagle’s Nest for the past seven years. When he looks back he sees how much he’s changed and grown over that time, and how much of a role Eagle’s Nest has played in his development – the growth in his confidence, independence, and caring for his community. He wants to help others grow in the same way, and be a part of passing on of Eagle’s Nest’s traditions and culture to younger campers as a Junior Counselor.”
