There are a few words that you hear with regularity at Eagle’s Nest: community, work ethic, compassion, gratitude…Among those words is also “intention.” Last week Molly, a long time counselor and staff member of the last few years, sent me this video of how we practice being intentional at camp and how you can do the same at home right now. Molly shares the being intentional means “to live a purposeful life, full of meaning where your daily actions and the way that you interact with others and they things that you say have meaning and purpose behind them.”

Please take a moment to watch this short video from Molly and use it to share your feelings with your family at the end of each day or week. And if you really want to feel like you’re at camp with your cabin group, grab a snack, head out to your backyard or another outdoor space if you can, sit in a circle and start sharing!
